Midnight Invitation is a Diamond Sword class-loot item from Dullahan in The Hallosseum. It sits in the same class reward table as weapons, armor, a shield, and several other equipment types, with the final selection tied to the player’s class rather than every entry dropping at once.
Its lore reads: “Your name is scratched into the guard. You do not remember accepting.” The flavor fits The Hallosseum’s funeral-procession theme without changing what the item actually is: a Diamond Sword class-loot reward.
Midnight Invitation is available through Dullahan’s class loot on Normal, Hard, and Mythic. It is not soulbound.

Where to Get It
Midnight Invitation comes from Dullahan’s class loot in The Hallosseum. Dullahan’s class loot is active in Phase 2, the second half of the boss encounter that begins after the first phase reaches 50% health.
The class table is not a pile of additive drops. Each player receives one item from that table, with the selection determined by class, so Midnight Invitation is one possible class-loot result rather than something that drops alongside every other class item.
| Dropped By | Chance | Difficulty | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dullahan | 100% table entry | Normal, Hard, Mythic | One item is selected from Dullahan’s class loot table according to class; the table entries are not additive. |
The table entry is listed at 100% and applies on all three Hallosseum difficulties. That 100% belongs to the class-loot entry itself; the class-based selection determines which one of the table’s items a player receives.
Normal, Hard, and Mythic change the dungeon’s level sync to +5, +0, and -5 respectively. The class-loot system also rolls enchantments based on dungeon difficulty, so the difficulty you choose matters to the quality ceiling of the item even though the base item name and material stay the same.
Class Loot
Midnight Invitation is class loot. It has no fixed stats: its enchantments are rolled every time it drops, so no two copies are exactly alike, and harder difficulties allow higher enchantment levels. When a mob drops class loot, each player who wins the drop roll gets one item from that mob’s class loot pool, weighted toward their class.
Dropped as class loot by:
- Dullahan (boss): 100% chance per player who dealt at least 10% of the mob’s health
Possible Enchantments
The levels below are the most each enchantment can roll. Each drop receives about half of the listed levels at random, so most copies land below these maximums. The chance shows how often an enchantment appears at all.
| Difficulty | Possible Enchantments |
|---|---|
| Normal | Sharpness up to V (always) Unbreaking up to III (70%) Fire Aspect up to I (20%) Knockback up to II (25%) Looting up to III (10%) Sweeping Edge up to I (25%) Mending up to I (5%) |
| Hard | Sharpness up to VII (always) Unbreaking up to IV (70%) Fire Aspect up to II (30%) Knockback up to II (35%) Looting up to V (15%) Sweeping Edge up to II (30%) Mending up to I (5%) Critical Strikes up to III (10%) |
| Mythic | Sharpness up to IX (always) Unbreaking up to V (65%) Fire Aspect up to II (30%) Knockback up to III (30%) Looting up to V (5%) Sweeping Edge up to III (35%) Mending up to I (5%) |
Is It Worth It?
Midnight Invitation is worth farming if Dullahan’s class selection points you toward this Diamond Sword and you want to chase the strongest version of that reward. The base item is consistent, but its enchantments are rolled when it drops, so the quality of the copy matters more than simply checking the name off once.
For the best possible copy, Mythic is the difficulty to farm because harder difficulties allow higher enchantment levels on class loot. Normal is the easier end of the Hallosseum scale at +5 level sync, Hard is +0, and Mythic is -5, so pushing higher difficulty is the tradeoff for access to the strongest class-loot enchantment potential.
There is no fixed enchantment list here to compare point for point with Dullahan’s unique weapons. The value of Midnight Invitation comes from being a class-weighted Diamond Sword reward whose enchantments can improve with difficulty, rather than a single predefined stat package.
Is It Worth It
Its main enchantment is Sharpness, which can reach V on Normal, VII on Hard and IX on Mythic when it drops from a boss. If you want this piece at its strongest, Mythic is the run to farm. Since every copy is rolled, two drops from the same difficulty can still differ, so check each one against what you are already using.
