Reaper of the Court is a diamond hoe from The Knight’s Castle, awarded through Charlemagne’s Royal class loot. This is the Royal Diamond Hoe, a reward chosen through the class table after Charlemagne’s final phase rather than a unique weapon with a fixed enchantment list.
“No harvest feast followed its final work.” The name makes a farming tool sound like court business with a very short appeals process. Its story is clear; the combat performance still depends on the class-loot copy you earn.

Class Loot
Reaper of the Court is class loot. It has no fixed stats: its enchantments are rolled every time it drops, so no two copies are exactly alike, and harder difficulties allow higher enchantment levels. When a mob drops class loot, each player who wins the drop roll gets one item from that mob’s class loot pool, weighted toward their class.
Dropped as class loot by:
- Charlemagne (boss): 100% chance per player who dealt at least 10% of the mob’s health
Possible Enchantments
The levels below are the most each enchantment can roll. Each drop receives about half of the listed levels at random, so most copies land below these maximums. The chance shows how often an enchantment appears at all.
| Difficulty | Possible Enchantments |
|---|---|
| Normal | Sharpness up to V (always) Unbreaking up to IV (always) Fire Aspect up to I (20%) Mending up to I (30%) |
| Hard | Sharpness up to VI (always) Unbreaking up to V (always) Fire Aspect up to II (30%) Mending up to I (30%) Critical Strikes up to III (10%) |
| Mythic | Sharpness up to VIII (always) Unbreaking up to VI (always) Fire Aspect up to II (30%) Mending up to I (30%) |
Reading the Reward Correctly
The Royal set includes an unusual range of weapon types: Diamond Sword, Diamond Axe, Trident, Mace, and Diamond Hoe all sit in the same selection. Reaper of the Court is the Hoe entry, so it should be assessed as that specific material rather than credited with the effects on Charlemagne’s named sword or mace.
A Royal reward is different from Charlemagne’s named unique weapons. His unique items carry stated enchantments and effects with individual drop chances; this class-loot piece is selected from a larger Royal set, so judging it as though it had a fixed 2% weapon drop rate would mix up two separate reward systems.
What You Have to Beat
Getting to the Royal reward means finishing Charlemagne’s four-phase fight. His first phase uses Vacuum to pull players in and Web to trap them in a temporary cobweb for three seconds while he gains Speed III; hitting him down to 80% moves the fight into the second phase.
At 80% health, Charlemagne changes to Push attacks and calls in Azaroon Healers. These Illusioners look for injured elites within 20 blocks and heal an eligible target once each second, so leaving them alone can turn a long fight into a much longer one.
At 50% health, the third phase adds Fire and arrows alongside Push, with a Dome Arena script in play. At 30% health, the last phase exchanges the arrow attack for Arrow Rain and summons Hellstar; that’s also the phase carrying the Royal loot.
Arrow Rain begins with a cloud about ten blocks over Charlemagne, covers roughly a 30-by-30-block area and continues for ten seconds. Hellstar is permanently invisible and can launch explosive fireballs, so trying to finish the fight while ignoring everything around the boss is a fine way to make the final stretch harder than it needs to be.
Is It Worth It?
Reaper of the Court is worth evaluating if your class selects the Diamond Hoe reward. There is no sensible way to call it better than a named unique weapon until you look at the enchantments rolled on the actual item; Mythic provides the stronger enchantment ceiling to chase.
For the best enchantment potential, Mythic is the run to target. The catch is that a class-selected reward is not a menu where you pick any Royal item you like, so count the item you actually receive rather than assuming every Charlemagne kill gives you this exact piece.
Is It Worth It
Its main enchantment is Sharpness, which can reach V on Normal, VI on Hard and VIII on Mythic when it drops from a boss. If you want this piece at its strongest, Mythic is the run to farm. Since every copy is rolled, two drops from the same difficulty can still differ, so check each one against what you are already using.
