Class Loot
Captain's scimitar is class loot. Its enchantments are rolled each time it drops based on the dungeon difficulty, so no two copies are exactly alike. Each player who wins the drop roll gets one item weighted toward their class. Harder difficulties allow higher enchantment levels, so Mythic is the run to farm for the best copy.
Is It Worth It
Since every copy is rolled, two drops from the same difficulty can still differ. Harder difficulties allow higher enchantment levels, so if you want this piece at its strongest, farm it on Mythic and compare each drop with what you already have.
