Headless Blade is a Netherite Sword dropped by Dullahan in The Hallosseum. It belongs to the boss’s named Phase 2 loot and combines Sharpness V, Fire Aspect II, Smite V, Weakness II, and Nausea I.
Its lore reads: “Forged from the horseman’s lost memories.” Apparently the horseman remembers enough to make a sword with five separate combat properties, which is inconvenient for everyone standing on the receiving end.
Headless Blade drops on Normal, Hard, and Mythic with the same listed 50% chance and one shared stat line. It is soulbound.

Stats by Difficulty
Headless Blade uses the same stats on every Hallosseum difficulty. Normal, Hard, and Mythic all list Sharpness V, Fire Aspect II, Smite V, Weakness II, Nausea I, and the same 50% drop chance.
| Difficulty | Enchantments | Effects | Drop Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal, Hard, Mythic | Sharpness V; Fire Aspect II; Smite V | Weakness II on target when you hit; Nausea I on target when you hit | 50% |
The sword has three enchantments rather than the four found on Axe of Beheadings. Sharpness V and Smite V match the axe exactly, while Fire Aspect II is the enchantment that separates Headless Blade from the other named Dullahan weapons.
Its two on-hit effects are Weakness II and Nausea I. Weakness II is one level higher than the Weakness I listed on Axe of Beheadings, while Nausea I does not appear on any of Dullahan’s other named unique weapons.
Axe of Beheadings is the cleanest direct comparison because both share Sharpness V and Smite V. The axe adds Knockback III, Sweeping Edge I, Wither I, and Weakness I; Headless Blade instead uses Fire Aspect II, Weakness II, and Nausea I.
Reaper’s Scythe also has Sharpness V, but its remaining package is Sweeping Edge II, Smite IV, Wither II, and Blindness I. Headless Blade therefore has the higher listed Smite level of the two, but no Sweeping Edge or Wither effect.
Skull Crusher raises Sharpness to VI and uses Smite IV, Knockback III, Wither II, and Slowness I. That makes Headless Blade less about the highest single Sharpness value and more about the exact combination of Sharpness V, Smite V, Fire Aspect II, Weakness II, and Nausea I.
Where to Get It
Headless Blade drops from Dullahan in The Hallosseum. The boss has two phases, with Phase 2 beginning at 50% health and carrying the named unique loot.
The drop table has one shared row because Headless Blade has no separate Normal, Hard, or Mythic stat versions. Its listed chance remains 50% on all three.
| Dropped By | Chance | Difficulty | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dullahan | 50% | Normal, Hard, Mythic | Soulbound: Yes |
Changing the dungeon difficulty does not change the sword’s listed enchantments or effects. There is no stronger Mythic version with higher Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Smite, Weakness, or Nausea levels.
The Hallosseum still changes level sync by difficulty: Normal is +5, Hard is +0, and Mythic is -5. That changes the run around the item, while the Headless Blade entry itself stays the same.
Is It Worth It?
Headless Blade is the most direct sword option in Dullahan’s unique pool, and its numbers are easy to read. Sharpness V and Smite V are both high within this boss’s listed weapon set, Fire Aspect II is unique to this item, and the on-hit effects are Weakness II plus Nausea I.
If you want Wither, this is not the Dullahan drop that provides it. Axe of Beheadings, Reaper’s Scythe, Skull Crusher, and Haunted Spear all list Wither effects, while Headless Blade uses Weakness and Nausea instead.
It is soulbound and does not gain a harder-difficulty stat upgrade. The reason to farm it is therefore the exact weapon package, not the expectation that Mythic will produce a different Headless Blade than Normal or Hard.
