Haunted Spear is a Netherite Spear dropped by Dullahan in The Hallosseum. It is one of the boss’s named Phase 2 rewards and combines Impaling V, Sharpness IV, Smite V, Weakness II, and Wither I.
Its lore reads: “Cursed by restless spirits, it thirsts for blood.” The weapon’s actual identity is just as direct: three offensive enchantments backed by two on-hit debuffs.
Haunted Spear drops on Normal, Hard, and Mythic at the same listed 50% chance. It is soulbound, and there is one shared version rather than separate difficulty-specific copies.

Stats by Difficulty
Haunted Spear keeps the same listed stats across the full Hallosseum difficulty range. Normal, Hard, and Mythic all use the same enchantments, effects, and 50% drop chance.
| Difficulty | Enchantments | Effects | Drop Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal, Hard, Mythic | Impaling V; Sharpness IV; Smite V | Weakness II on target when you hit; Wither I on target when you hit | 50% |
The spear has three enchantments, and all three are offensive. Impaling V is unique within Dullahan’s named unique loot, Sharpness IV is lower than the Sharpness V or VI values on several of the other melee rewards, and Smite V matches the highest Smite level in the same pool.
The on-hit effects are Weakness II and Wither I. That pairing is also unique among Dullahan’s listed weapons: Axe of Beheadings has Wither I with Weakness I, while Headless Blade has Weakness II with Nausea I.
That makes Haunted Spear something of a bridge between those two drops. It takes the stronger Weakness II value found on Headless Blade, keeps the Wither I seen on Axe of Beheadings, then adds Impaling V as its own defining enchantment.
Compared with Reaper’s Scythe and Skull Crusher, the spear gives up Wither II for Wither I. In return, it carries Weakness II and Smite V, while those two weapons use Smite IV and pair Wither II with Blindness I or Slowness I.
Phantom Crossbow is the least similar reward in the pool because it is built around Piercing III, Quick Charge II, Blindness II, and Slowness II. Haunted Spear stays firmly in the melee-style side of the loot pool with three offensive enchantments and two target debuffs.
Where to Get It
Haunted Spear drops from Dullahan in The Hallosseum. Dullahan has two phases, and the named unique loot belongs to Phase 2, which begins when the first phase reaches 50% health.
The item has one shared drop-table row because its listed stats do not change between Normal, Hard, and Mythic. Its individual chance remains 50% on every difficulty.
| Dropped By | Chance | Difficulty | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dullahan | 50% | Normal, Hard, Mythic | Soulbound: Yes |
The Hallosseum itself still changes level sync by difficulty: Normal uses +5, Hard uses +0, and Mythic uses -5. That changes the dungeon’s scaling while leaving Haunted Spear’s listed enchantments, effects, and chance unchanged.
There is therefore no stronger Mythic-only Haunted Spear version hidden behind the harder run. The listed reward is the same Netherite Spear package regardless of which of the three Hallosseum difficulties produces it.
Is It Worth It?
Haunted Spear is one of the more balanced Dullahan drops if you want a mix of direct enchantments and debuffs. Smite V is tied for the highest Smite value among the named weapons, Weakness II is tied for the highest Weakness value, and Impaling V gives the spear an enchantment none of the other listed rewards carries.
The compromise is Sharpness IV and Wither I. Axe of Beheadings, Reaper’s Scythe, and Headless Blade all list Sharpness V, Skull Crusher reaches Sharpness VI, and both Reaper’s Scythe and Skull Crusher carry Wither II rather than I.
What Haunted Spear gives back is its exact combination: Impaling V, Smite V, Weakness II, and Wither I together on one item. If that package is what you want, there is no need to chase a separate difficulty version because Normal, Hard, and Mythic all list the same spear.
