Phantom Crossbow is a Crossbow dropped by Dullahan in The Hallosseum. It is part of the boss’s named Phase 2 loot and carries Piercing III, Quick Charge II, Blindness II, and Slowness II.
Its lore reads: “Spectral bolts phase through armor and bone alike.” The item keeps its stat line much cleaner than Dullahan’s melee-focused rewards: two crossbow enchantments and two on-hit status effects.
Phantom Crossbow drops on Normal, Hard, and Mythic with the same listed 50% chance and one shared stat package. It is soulbound.

Stats by Difficulty
Phantom Crossbow has no separate difficulty versions. Normal, Hard, and Mythic all use the same Piercing III, Quick Charge II, Blindness II, Slowness II, and listed 50% drop chance.
| Difficulty | Enchantments | Effects | Drop Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal, Hard, Mythic | Piercing III; Quick Charge II | Blindness II on target when you hit; Slowness II on target when you hit | 50% |
The enchantment list is deliberately compact compared with the rest of Dullahan’s named loot. Piercing III and Quick Charge II are the only enchantments listed, with the remaining identity coming from the two effects applied when you hit a target.
Those effects are Blindness II and Slowness II. Both are level II, which is higher than the Blindness I on Reaper’s Scythe and the Slowness I on Skull Crusher.
No other named Dullahan unique drop uses this exact pair. Reaper’s Scythe combines Blindness I with Wither II, while Skull Crusher combines Slowness I with Wither II.
Phantom Crossbow is also the only Crossbow among Dullahan’s named unique drops. The rest of the pool uses a Netherite Axe, Netherite Hoe, Netherite Sword, Mace, or Netherite Spear, so this item occupies a clearly separate equipment slot in the reward set.
Because its enchantments are entirely different from the Sharpness, Smite, Knockback, Sweeping Edge, Fire Aspect, and Impaling packages on the other named weapons, comparing it by raw enchantment count is not especially useful. The better comparison is the status line: Blindness II plus Slowness II is the crossbow’s defining feature.
Where to Get It
Phantom Crossbow drops from Dullahan in The Hallosseum. Dullahan enters Phase 2 when the first phase reaches 50% health, and that second phase carries the named unique drops.
There is one shared drop-table row because the crossbow has no separate Normal, Hard, or Mythic version. Its listed chance is 50% on every difficulty.
| Dropped By | Chance | Difficulty | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dullahan | 50% | Normal, Hard, Mythic | Soulbound: Yes |
The difficulty setting does not change Piercing, Quick Charge, Blindness, or Slowness on this item. A Phantom Crossbow obtained on Normal has the same listed stat package as one obtained on Hard or Mythic.
The Hallosseum itself still uses different level sync by difficulty: +5 on Normal, +0 on Hard, and -5 on Mythic. That changes the dungeon scaling without creating a second or third Phantom Crossbow stat line.
Is It Worth It?
Phantom Crossbow is the clear choice in Dullahan’s named loot if you specifically want the Crossbow reward. Its entire package is easy to understand: Piercing III, Quick Charge II, Blindness II, and Slowness II.
Its status levels are also notable within the same loot pool. The crossbow carries the higher listed Blindness level compared with Reaper’s Scythe and the higher listed Slowness level compared with Skull Crusher.
It is soulbound, and there is no Mythic-only upgrade to chase. Farming it is about landing the crossbow itself, not hoping for a difficulty-specific copy with different numbers.
