Shipmate is a regular dungeon mob in The Pirate Ship with two versions: an Iron Axe Vindicator and a Crossbow Pillager. Both variants ignore player projectile damage and cannot be knocked back.
The Iron Axe version traps players in temporary cobwebs, while the Crossbow version pulls and levitates them on hit. Hard adds Shield Wall to both, and Mythic adds Attack Push.

Difficulty Scaling
This mob uses the dungeon’s dynamic level scaling. Normal uses level sync +5, Hard uses level sync 0, and Mythic uses level sync -5.
Both variants have knockback immunity and projectile immunity on all difficulties. The Iron Axe version uses Attack Web on all difficulties; the Crossbow version uses Attack Vacuum and Attack Gravity on all difficulties. Shield Wall is added to both on Hard and Mythic, and Attack Push appears on Mythic.
Powers and Abilities
- Invulnerability Knockback: Both Shipmate variants cannot be knocked back. Active on all difficulties.
- Invulnerability Arrow: Both variants take no damage from player projectiles such as arrows, tridents, and similar attacks. Active on all difficulties.
- Attack Web: The Iron Axe variant places a temporary cobweb on the player for 3 seconds when it hits and gains Speed III for 3 seconds. The cooldown is 3 seconds with a 1-second global cooldown. Active on all difficulties.
- Attack Vacuum: The Crossbow variant pulls a player toward itself when it hits, with no cooldown. Active on all difficulties.
- Attack Gravity: The Crossbow variant gives Levitation I for 5 seconds when it hits a player. Active on all difficulties.

How to Beat It
Neither Shipmate variant can be knocked back, and player projectiles deal no damage, so plan around close-range pressure. Against the Iron Axe version, getting hit can pin you in a cobweb for 3 seconds while it gains Speed III.
The Crossbow version can pull you inward and give Levitation I for 5 seconds on hit. Hard and Mythic can add shield walls to either version, while Mythic adds knockback on their hits.
