Brave Knight is a regular dungeon mob in The Knight’s Castle, appearing as a custom-disguised Vindicator with a Netherite Sword and Shield. The name is fitting: it has no problem dragging you right into sword range.
Its attacks pull you close and trap you in cobwebs, then give the Knight a burst of Speed III. A little space can vanish quickly when this guard lands a hit.
Brave Knight is built around one nasty interaction: the sword hit pulls you closer, while a second on-hit power can place a temporary cobweb around you. If that happens, the Knight gains Speed III for exactly the same 3 seconds that the web lasts.
The health multiplier is 1.5× and the damage multiplier is 1×. Those numbers are not the whole threat; losing movement for a few seconds is the part that can make an otherwise ordinary guard feel far more dangerous.

The Knight’s Castle uses dynamic levels. Normal runs use level sync +5, Hard uses +0, and Mythic uses -5. The abilities described here work on all three difficulties unless noted.
Powers and Abilities
- Fire Resistance: Permanent Fire Resistance. Active on Normal, Hard, and Mythic.
- Attack Vacuum: A hit pulls the player toward the mob, without a cooldown. Active on Normal, Hard, and Mythic.
- Attack Web: A hit traps the player in a temporary cobweb for 3 seconds and gives the mob Speed III for 3 seconds. It has a 3-second cooldown and a 1-second global cooldown. Active on Normal, Hard, and Mythic.
What It Says
- “Have at you!”
- “Is that all you got.”
- “You fight like a cow!”
- “I fought raccoons tougher than you!”

Why the Pull-and-Web Combination Matters
The pull has no cooldown. Every successful hit can draw you toward the Knight through Attack Vacuum. Do not assume that making a little distance after one hit guarantees you will stay there if another attack connects.
The cobweb is timed. Attack Web lasts 3 seconds, has a 3-second cooldown and a 1-second global cooldown. At the same time, the Knight gains Speed III for 3 seconds, so it gets a burst of mobility precisely when you lose yours.
This is not a fire fight. Brave Knight has permanent Fire Resistance. The ability set is about forcing close combat, so the more important question is how often you let its sword connect.
How to Beat It
Protect your spacing before the first hit lands. Attack Vacuum has no cooldown, so Brave Knight can drag you into reach again every time its attack connects. Once the web triggers, you have a 3-second obstacle while the Knight gets Speed III for those same 3 seconds.
Do not read the web’s 3-second cooldown as protection against the pull: they are separate powers. Avoiding one cobweb does not disable the Knight’s ability to drag you in with another hit.
Fire Resistance remains active on Normal, Hard, and Mythic. A plan based on controlling the distance and limiting successful sword hits makes far better use of what this enemy actually does than hoping fire damage will finish it for you.
