Nicolas Ribcage is a miniboss in [Dynamic] The Dark Spire. This Stray fights with a Bow and wears a Netherite Helmet and Netherite Boots.
The fight piles movement checks on top of movement checks: homing arrows, freezing, Bullet Hell, Meteor Shower, and a summoned Skeleton. If you were hoping to stand in one nice safe square and conduct business from there, Nicolas has other plans.

- Attack Poison: A hit gives the player Poison I for 3 seconds. Active on all difficulties.
- Attack Freeze: A hit gives the player Slowness VI for 3 seconds, encases the player in temporary packed ice for 3 seconds, and applies the freezing screen effect. It has a 15-second cooldown and 3-second global cooldown. Active on all difficulties.
- Bullet Hell: When a player hits Nicolas Ribcage, there is a 25% chance to trigger it, with a 20-second cooldown. The boss stops, rises up to 10 blocks if there is room, and fires homing arrows every 0.5 seconds for 10 seconds. Active on all difficulties.
- Projectile Immunity: Nicolas Ribcage takes no damage from player projectiles such as arrows and tridents. Active on all difficulties.

Summoned Reinforcements
Ribling uses a Skeleton base mob with a 0.25× health multiplier and 0.6× damage multiplier. It carries a Bow, wears an Iron Helmet and Netherite Boots, and adds Attack Arrow, Attack Vacuum, and projectile immunity.
- Attack Arrow: Once Ribling has a target, every 8 seconds it fires an arrow at every Survival or Adventure player within 20 blocks.
- Attack Vacuum: A hit pulls the player toward Ribling with no cooldown.
- Projectile Immunity: Ribling takes no damage from player projectiles such as arrows and tridents.
Class Loot
How to Beat It
Player projectiles do no damage and knockback will not move Nicolas, so do not count on ranged chip damage or displacement to make the fight safer. Tracking Arrow keeps producing homing shots every 3 seconds, and Attack Freeze can cut your movement hard for 3 seconds if a hit lands.
Bullet Hell and Meteor Shower both punish staying in one place, while Ribling can pull you toward it with Attack Vacuum. Keep enough room to move before the big attacks start, because getting frozen or pulled during a homing-arrow barrage is how a manageable fight turns into a pile of regrettable decisions.
