Oroxak is a miniboss in [Dynamic] The Dark Spire. This Wither Skeleton carries a Netherite Sword and wears a full set of Netherite armor.
The fight is built around explosive fireballs, projectile immunity, and a summoned Husk that can freeze players in place. Ranged comfort disappears quickly here, which is inconvenient when the other side is the one throwing fireballs.

Powers and Abilities
- Attack Fireball: Once Oroxak has a target, every 8 seconds he launches an explosive, fire-starting fireball at every Survival or Adventure player within 20 blocks. Active on all difficulties.
- Projectile Immunity: Oroxak takes no damage from player projectiles such as arrows and tridents. Active on all difficulties.
- Knockback Immunity: Oroxak cannot be knocked back. Active on all difficulties.
- Hyper Loot: On death, Oroxak triggers ten extra EliteMobs loot generations. Active on all difficulties.
- Oroxak’s Corrupted: Oroxak can summon Oroxak’s Corrupted. Active on all difficulties.
Summoned Reinforcements
Oroxak’s Corrupted uses a Husk base mob with a 0.25× health multiplier and 0.6× damage multiplier. It wears a full set of Netherite armor and uses Attack Freeze.
- Attack Freeze: A hit gives the player Slowness VI for 3 seconds, encases the player in temporary packed ice for 3 seconds, and adds the freezing screen effect. It has a 15-second cooldown and a 3-second global cooldown.

How to Beat It
Player projectiles do no damage to Oroxak, and knockback will not move him, so neither ranged damage nor displacement solves the main problem. His fireballs come every 8 seconds once he has a target and can hit every nearby Survival or Adventure player within 20 blocks.
Oroxak’s Corrupted makes movement much more dangerous by applying Slowness VI and trapping a hit player in temporary packed ice for 3 seconds. Avoid letting the summon land that freeze while Oroxak is still cycling fireballs, because being stuck in place is exactly as useful as it sounds.
