Lava Muncher is a regular dungeon enemy in The Vampire Manor with an Enderman base mob and a Strider disguise. Under that appearance sits a 2× health multiplier and a 1.3× damage multiplier.
There is no complicated attack rotation to memorize here. Its listed power is permanent Fire Resistance, which means the fight comes down to its bulk, its damage multiplier, and your ability to handle it without leaning on fire.

Difficulty Scaling
The Vampire Manor has three difficulty settings: Normal uses level sync +5, Hard uses level sync +0, and Mythic uses level sync -5. As a dynamic-level mob, Lava Muncher scales with the dungeon rather than having one fixed level.
Fire Resistance is active on Normal, Hard, and Mythic. Its listed power stays the same across all three settings, even while the dungeon difficulty changes.
Powers and Abilities
- Fire Resistance: Permanent Fire Resistance. Fire is not the answer to this fight. Active on all difficulties.

How to Beat It
Do not mistake the Strider disguise for a low-threat enemy. Lava Muncher uses a 2× health multiplier and deals damage with a 1.3× multiplier, so it deserves more care than an ordinary 1×/1× mob.
Its Fire Resistance is permanent. Any plan that depends on fire doing the work is the wrong plan; focus on your direct damage and keep track of the hits you take.
With a leash radius of 60 and follow distance of 50, do not assume it will disengage quickly once you have its attention. Choose your fight rather than charging in just because its power list is short.
